Hanes for Good Project

Over the past decade, Hanes has been working with homeless shelters, organizations, community groups and individuals from across the country to help create an awareness for those who are homeless or in transitional housing that are often over looked – the invisible people in our communities. This year Hanes has partnered with Deserving of Dignity by donating 1000 pairs of ladies socks to be distributed throughout the communities we serve. Socks and underwear are among the most requested, but least donated items at homeless shelters. Hanes goal for over the past decade has been to bring some comfort to those in need by simply providing a clean pair of socks through the hands of their committed partners. This year Hanes is donating more than 250,000 pairs to its partner shelters and organizations. Deserving of Dignity is proud to be a partner.
